JOHN COLONTRELLE'S STORY

Had John Colontrelle gone to a different hospital, he may not be alive today - and he has the Indian River community to thank for his survival.

At the time, John was in his early 30s and could best be described as healthy and active. But after a vigorous workout left him feeling seriously ill, he ended up in Indian River Medical Center's Emergency Department.
